The Timeless Traditionalist
In 1988 I did my first wedding reception as a D.J. In 1994 I started working for Olan Mills® as a studio Photographer. In 2000 I was playing the music at my best friend’s wedding when his photographer did a no show on him. I showed a friend of mine how to run the booth (almost everything was automated and basically just push play) I went to a Wal-mart® of all things and bought a digital camera. I found out something that day, a camera is a lot lighter that a pair of speakers. I continued to do D.J. work but more and more friends who attended the first wedding I shot wanted me to photograph their special day as well (looking back I really wish I would have kept all photos I did). In December 2008 I put up my speakers and am now strictly a photographer, and I have never been happier. I have several weddings under my belt as a photographer and several hundred as a DJ (no that is not an exaggeration). Thank you for your time.
